the capital city of any country should be the place to be.


The assessment for QUT's (Queensland University of Technology) DAB810 Architecture 8 in 2011 is loosely based on this ideal.
It is inspired from the current CAPITheticAL competition, which is a design ideas competition for a hypothetical Australian capital city.

In DAB810 we are focusing on 4 architectural strategies:
[i]   flexible
[ii]  mobile
[iii] distributed
[iv] virtual


Apparently we are not to take these terms too literally.
We are to go beyond conventional architecture and take the presence and identity of Australia into consideration, ensuring that these elements are conserved.
